Aiming for Modern, Self-Reliant, and Toxin-Free Farming Across All 75 Districts
May 29, 2025, Lucknow — The Viksit Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan 2025 was a 15-day nationwide campaign to raise awareness about agriculture and enhance Indian farming through new ideas, education, and giving farmers more control.Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, officially began the event. The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare’s Kharif season outreach program started in Lucknow.
Yogi Adityanath said, “The Krishi Sankalp Abhiyan is not just a campaign to raise awareness.” It is a purpose to make sure that farmers are informed participants in India’s growth story. We want to make it possible for farming to be both self-sufficient and self-sustaining.
