correction policy

At Bharat News Week, we believe that trust is built with truth — and when it comes to reporting, accuracy matters. A lot.

We do our very best to make sure the information we share is correct, balanced, and up to date. But hey, we’re human — and if something ever goes wrong, we won’t hide it. We’ll fix it, and make it right.

🔍 How We Handle Corrections

If we spot a mistake — or if you point one out — here’s what we do:

1. We Double-Check It

Our editorial team will quickly look into the issue, verify the facts, and see what needs to be corrected. We take every correction request seriously.

2. We Fix It Thoughtfully

  • Tiny fixes like typos or grammar that don’t change the meaning? We quietly fix those.
  • Factual errors (wrong names, stats, quotes, or dates)? We’ll fix it and leave a note so readers know it’s been corrected.
  • Ongoing stories? We’ll add updates to keep you in the loop as new info comes in.

📝 How We Show Corrections

If we make a factual correction, we’ll add a little note at the end of the article, like this:

Correction Note: This article previously stated [the mistake]. It has been updated with the correct information as of [date].

No tricks. No cover-ups. Just honesty.
